What is Udyam Registration?

Udyam Registration or Udyam Registration Memorandum Number or URM Number is a Unique Identification Number provided by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India for small and medium enterprises in India. It can be considered as Business Aadhaar Number. By having URM number businesses can claim various government benefits that includes

  • Financial Benefits:   Loans, Exemptions, Credit Guarantee, Concessions, etc.,
  • Marketing Benefits: Participation in Local/International Events, Vendor Development Programmes, Tender Exemptions, etc.
  • Operational / Organizational benefit: Tax benefits, Dispute Resolutions, Trainings, Certifications, etc.,
  • Get various Subsidies, Reimbursements and Schemes from the government
